Celebrating AuDAcious Magazine

A Publication Worth Raising a Glass To

At ANTHEA, we believe good things are worth celebrating slowly — and this month, we’re celebrating a milestone from one of our favourite partners in print: Audacious Magazine.

Less than a year ago, Audacious Magazine was just a glimmer of an idea in founder Ali Bond Tina Kapp-Kaliea’s imagination. The launch in December 2025 was followed by the debut summer edition by subscription only. Landing on coffee tables in homes around the globe, and then mid-July in 2026 at Whitcoulls - the national retailer with over 50 stores around New Zealand. Ali has taken Audacious from concept to a genuine, physical presence in people’s homes — no small feat in an industry where print is so often written off in favour of the scroll.

Audacious is a feminine, fierce and luxe lifestyle magazine built on stories, style and substance. Dedicated to celebrating extraordinary women and the lives they’re building on their own terms.

Every issue is curated with real intention and depth — the kind of storytelling that asks a reader to slow down, rather than skim past. It’s an ethos we recognise at ANTHEA. We have built our own range on the belief that thoughtful choices deserve real craft, not shortcuts, and it’s part of why we’ve been proud to advertise with Audacious.

Watching Ali build this from the ground up — bringing together subscribers, contributors, advertisers and the women willing to share their stories — has been a genuine pleasure. It’s a reminder of what’s possible when someone backs a bold idea and sees it all the way through.

If you haven’t picked up a copy yet, you’ll find Audacious at Whitcoulls, or you can subscribe directly at audaciousmagazine.com.

Congratulations, Ali and team — here’s to many more issues to come.

Ramwall Group Brand Launch

Celebrating Inclusively with ANTHEA at the Ramwall Group Brand Launch

We recently had the pleasure of featuring ANTHEA at the Ramwall Group Brand Launch, held at our new Auckland office in July.

When planning the event, it was important to us that everyone attending could feel included in the celebration, including guests who choose not to drink alcohol. We served ANTHEA Blush and Blanc in champagne flutes alongside the other beverages on the evening, and the response was amazing.

What stood out most was the reaction from a number of our guests who don’t drink alcohol. Several were genuinely surprised when they realised the beautiful sparkling drink in their flute was non-alcoholic. For them, it meant they could still raise a glass and enjoy the same experience as everyone else.

Inclusivity is something that is very important to us at Ramwall Group and is reflected in the communities and environments we aim to create through our work. It was lovely to see that same principle reflected in something as simple as the drinks being served at our launch.

The presentation was also beautiful. Both the Blush and Blanc looked fantastic served in the flutes, although the Blush was definitely a personal favourite! It added colour and elegance to the tables and felt completely at home at a corporate event.

A huge thank you as well to Emma and the ANTHEA team for getting everything to us in time despite our order being very last minute. The service from beginning to end was exceptional.

“ANTHEA was such a success at our launch. What I loved most was seeing the reaction from guests who don’t drink alcohol. They could still have a beautiful drink in a champagne flute, raise a glass with everyone else and feel completely included in the occasion.

I absolutely love what ANTHEA is doing and the thought behind creating something that allows everyone to be part of the celebration.”

A tale of Seven Stores

There’s no better month to talk about choosing well than July. For some it is known as Dry July, for others it has a way of putting non-alcoholic drinks, or easing up on your own alcohol consumption, in the spotlight.

For the ANTHEA team, it landed right at the end of a seven-week campaign with Farro Fresh. All Seven Auckland stores, twenty-one days, over a thousand conversations, and a campaign to understand our people, their preferences, and what makes ANTHEA at a Farro store successful.

Seven Stores, Twenty-One Days, and the Spirit of Dry July

Seven Stores.

The pattern was always the same: someone would try the spritz/Blush or Blanc, be polite, then realise I wasn’t an agency promoter but a co- owner. That’s when the real conversation started: why we built ANTHEA, what the name means, why we set out to make a genuinely satisfying drink without the alcohol, rather than simply taking it out of something else.

Nobody warns you that pouring strangers a taste of something you built from nothing is, unexpectedly, fun.

More often than I expected, a second bottle or carton went into the trolley. Couples sharing one tasting glass, “here honey, try this,” got me every time. One customer telling me she already had ANTHEA in her basket nearly had me in tears. The staff at each Farro store have been so helpful, supportive and genuinely care about their customers and in-store experiences.

It’s the perfect story for Dry July, because the month isn’t really about missing out on something in the social moments and rituals. It’s about people discovering that choosing less alcohol doesn’t mean choosing a “less than” option.

The tasting table taught me that people are reading labels, they care about real ingredients over shortcuts, and cutting back has quietly become part of how they look after themselves.

What they want in return isn’t a compromise. People want something poured properly, made with the same care as everything else on the table.

Celebrating Will and Issie — The Anthea Way

On a rainy Auckland Sunday in July, seventy of us gathered at our home in Parnell to celebrate the engagement of my son and his fiancée, freshly arrived from Sydney. Guests ranging from sixteen to eighty-six, all under one roof for an afternoon tea like no other.

The incomparable team at Little Rosie’s took care of catering, and for drinks, we offered guests a choice: a glass of Verve Clicquot, or Anthea’s beautiful Blanc and Blush, poured by our waiting staff the moment guests stepped through the door.

The verdict? For the first time ever at one of our gatherings, the nonalcoholic option ran out completely!!! Guest after guest asked where they could get their hands on it, and we happily pointed them to their local Farro Fresh.

It was a joy to watch something so elegant bring everyone into the celebration, no matter their age or their reason for skipping the alcohol. I can’t wait to have Anthea on the table again in February, this time, for the wedding itself.

Flex at Mosaic

ANTHEA Brings Botanical Craft to a not so Dry July

Some of the best conversations about craft, connection and community happen over a glass of something interesting and that was exactly the setting on Wakefield Street in mid-July as Team ANTHEA hosted a tasting for members of Flex at Mosaic.

Housed in a beautifully refurbished building in the heart of Auckland’s midtown CBD, Flex at Mosaic isn’t your typical shared workspace. Under Tiffany Peters and her team, Mosaic has been built on a simple but ambitious idea: that coming to work should feel less like clocking in and more like arriving somewhere considered and a space with the warmth and polish of a five-star hotel. Membership here isn’t just a desk and Wi-Fi; it’s access to a genuine community, with curated events designed to bring people together outside the usual nine-to-five rhythm.

It was into that spirit that ANTHEA arrived at the end of the day, pouring five handcrafted botanical spritzes for members to taste and talk through.

Each drink is made in Riverhead by Darren Webster – a winemaker who works from real flowers, herbs and botanicals — no shortcuts, no artificial stand-ins. It’s a process closer to winemaking than to typical soft drink production, and that distinction was very much the point of the session.

Rather than a quick pour-and-go, the tasting was a chance to slow down and talk about what goes into building a 0% drink that people genuinely want to drink. as a considered satisfying beverage. From ingredient source into the botanical blending process, the conversation gave Mosaic’s members a look behind the label at the handcrafting and care that goes into every bottle.

Thank you to Tiffany and the whole Flex at Mosaic team for the warm welcome and the space to share what we do. We loved being part of what your members are building there.
